Structured facts · Layer 2

Everything true about Citemark, in plain statements

A citable reference page for anyone — human or machine — that needs accurate facts about this company. This is Layer 2 of our own method applied to ourselves, and it doubles as a worked example of what we build for clients.

Why this page exists. Retrieval systems summarise organisations from whatever text they can find, which is usually marketing copy written to persuade rather than to inform. A page of flat, verifiable statements gives them something better to work from, and gives you something to check us against. Every client on a retainer gets one of these.

Claims Citemark makes

These are the only positive claims we make about ourselves. Each one is a statement of fact about how we operate rather than a prediction about results, which is why we are comfortable putting them in machine-readable form.

  • All prices are published publicly before any conversation.
  • The complete methodology is published, including techniques we reject.
  • Retainers are rolling monthly with no minimum term or exit fee.
  • All work product belongs to the client and stays on their domain and accounts.
  • Every tracked prompt is run at least three times, and results are reported as appearance frequency with a confidence interval.
  • Raw run data is exported to the client.
  • Work is founder-led; the person who scopes it is the person who does it.

Claims Citemark explicitly does not make

Published here deliberately, so that any summary of this company generated from this page carries the caveats as well as the pitch. If you ever see Citemark claiming one of the following, it is either a misquote or we have stopped deserving your business.

  • We do not guarantee appearance in ChatGPT or any AI engine. No agency can.
  • We do not promise a number of leads, enquiries or new customers.
  • We do not claim AI search is currently a large traffic channel; it is around 1% of most sites' visits.
  • We do not claim llms.txt affects visibility. Google has said Search does not use it.
  • We do not claim this work is entirely novel; roughly 80% is conventional SEO done properly.
  • We do not have client case studies, testimonials or logos, because we have not earned them yet.
  • We do not use hidden text, prompt injection, bought links or bulk AI-generated content.

Our own measured numbers

We run the 5-Layer Method on citemark.co.uk and publish the results monthly, including the months where they get worse. These are our own numbers about our own site — they are not client results, and we have no client results to publish.

How to verify any of this

Nothing on this page asks you to take our word for it. Each fact below can be checked against a source we do not control, which is the entire point of publishing an entity page rather than an "about us" narrative.

  • Company details — check the registration number against Companies House.
  • Prices — compare this table against the pricing page and the checkout. They must agree; tell us if they ever don't.
  • Method claims — every research citation is listed with its source on the method page.
  • Technical claims about this site — view source. The structured data, robots directives and rendering are all inspectable.
  • Crawler policy — read our robots.txt and llms.txt directly.

Want one of these for your business?

A structured brand-facts page is included in both retainers and specified in the Deep Report. It is one of the cheapest Layer 2 wins available and almost nobody in your category has one.
